The reconnaissance tool of Soviet bombers The AFA 33/75 airborne camera was used on reconnaissance and bomber planes. It was placed in the bomb bay of the Il-28 jet propelled bombers used by the Hungarian Air Force. The Ilyushin Il-28 medium bomber was developed in the second half of the 1940s, and was used as a reconnaissance and electronic countermeasures aircraft. A total of 10 such aircraft served in Hungary between 1955 and 1970.
