The weaponry of the MiG-15bis consists of one 37 mm N-37, two 23 mm NR-23 cannons as well as the ASP-3N gun sight, two bomb locks, and the electronic system that guides them. The 40 rounds of 37 mm and 160 of 23 mm ammunition are contained in three magazines.
The practice system was suitable for cold running the weapons and for practicing the use of the weapons system, even in a classroom environment.
The MiG-15bis was the Hungarian People's Army's first jet propelled fighter plane. The first models arrived to Hungary in 1951. The model served until 1975.
